NUGGETS

The walk back to the house from Tres beach.
PHOTO BY NICK... This is exactly why I have no pics surfing TRES. AHH..Nick,...DUDE....could you just raise the lens up a notch..you know....to where the waves are breaking !

Justin:
Jack of all trades and mastered them all. Now he's doing the same with photography.

Nick:
The most interesting kid in the world. "I don't always take photos of Spike surfing but when I try I always get distracted by girls."

Smaller fun stuff !

TRES PALMAS OPENING DAY

Daily Rincon Surf Report - Comments

Monday, November 7, 2011 (11-7-11) 9:30 am.
The surf is HUGE this morning. Triple Overhead. You wanted to see a big swell - here it is! Double to Triple Overhead. The swell should be cranking all day. The surge is already making the water levels pretty high as it is. Some areas near the coast in NW PR may have the shorebreak coming right up to their door on high tide.Want to know the wave forecast for surfing Puerto Rico? Check the forecast further down. Micah got some shots from the Epic Surf Friday, Nov 4th on the north side. Check it out in his Photo Store. You can also get updates on the surf by visiting our Rincon Surf Report Facebook Page.
Inside wave to reach the beach when your session is done.

This is Tres but not this past Monday. A professional photographer sent this to me knowing I was looking for pics from 11-7-11. Looks like 25ft.

Beautiful Tres Palmas Beach, Monday Morning.
Update: made a positive I.D. of the empty board..it's my 9ft. CC gun. another website has a 3 shot sequence of the same wave ..) Report for Monday, 11-7-11: ~ By 11am it was 18 to 20 feet. I was out from 9:30 to 12:30pm. More shots of that in the next blog. Photos: Justin Johnston/Nickolas de Magalhaes Tonn.
