COUNTRY FAIR PART 3

A little history about the Oregon Country Fair. It was founded in a huge forested meadow about  20 miles outside Eugene by the GREATFUL DEAD in 1972. The band made it an annual fair and continued playing there thru 1982. Their last performance was a decade later in 1992. In 2012 members of the DEAD joined with surviving members of THE BAND for a 3 hour concert closing the event billed as " THREE DAYS OF PEACE, MUSIC AND LOVE.". The only differences between 1972 and 2012, ? The pot smelled more powerful and everybody seemed to have a smart phone.

The Rico Report:
Yesterday was two to three feet overhead and glassy. As good as it gets here at the RV park.

THE OREGON COUNTRY FAIR

Part One !

3 days of peace music and love...or.....pot,  huge crowds,  dancing topless women,  heat and dust.  All of it was good clean fun. Everyone enjoyed the experience.
