Standing in the sun watching a mini fog bank roll in for 30 minutes and watch it roll back out. 1/2 mile up the beach it's cobalt skies, 70 degrees

YESTERDAY'S SUNSET

These are not photo shopped

Yaquina Head light house, Agate Beach. This piece of headland provides  protection from all wind directions except South and southwest which never blows out of those points anyway. Just to the left of the lighthouse  and down the cliffs is a big wave break ( AVALANCHE ).

GOOD WEATHER

3 hours of clean, weak chest/head high swell in front of the park yesterday morning.

Such a cool shot I had to rip it from yahoo news.

Some beautiful conditions lately.

BITTER COLD MELTING HEAT

I walked Rico on the beach Monday afternoon. Fog thick and wet enough to make rain / drizzle creating sheets of it when the 20 mph gusts blew thru. It was in the 30's with the wind chill. It's August. I had 5 layers a skull cap, a hood and gloves. It's August ??  Meanwhile, 50 miles inland it's triple digits.
