RICO'S REPORT

Surfed sand Dollar Beach at 5 to 7 ft faces. It increased a couple more feet. Good thing I was already in the line up as I wouldn't have made it out after the size picked up. Patty lookin mighty fine on her way to the Henry Miller Library with our neighbors Heidi and Frank for the Independent film night staged outdoors once a week.

SPIRIT GARDEN

The Spirit Garden is our number one choice of any music venue. The smallest amphitheater with the best surrounding nature can supply with the most consistent quality of musicianship Capacity : about 40 seated.

A BAND OF GYPSIES

I was looking at the shot of some of our neighbors and We all work in the park in some capacity. Even the kids, who become junior rangers by performing different chores for the park, have a sense of duty to maintain the beauty of our coastline. Some in the photo have already picked up and moved and some of us will move on in the next month. Eventually Patty and I will meet up with the friends we worked with last winter working together again somewhere along the California coast. The photo below is the road to our neighborhood.

Corrections....by Patty

Just read the blog so I need to make a few corrections to what Spike wrote. First I put more than 20 hrs/wk into the yacht charter business - try about 40! (hope my boss is reading this). Second - seldom seen me driving the rig? Well, I guess he's right about that one. I drive on the open highway - like Arizona.

Just got a new mac computer and I'm very overwhelmed right now. I'm driving to Monterey 2/3 times a week to attend the workshops.

There's a place here - some of you may have heard of it called Henry Miller Library. It's not a library. Henry Miller was a writer. They show independent films every Thursday night in their courtyard and at the end of the night we get to rate it. We've seen some very interesting films. This place has a lot to offer. We keep discovering things to do just don't have enough time.
