NUGGET REPORT

We have been in (see pic #2) the last several days. It's great being back on our bicycles. 5 or 7 miles of peddling a day feels good. We went to GLASS BEACH yesterday thinking "yeah ...the sea glass is already picked clean. To our surprise it was overstocked with the smooth gems Patty loves so much. She said it is more plentiful than Steps beach PR.





Ft. Bragg was founded in the mid 1800's as a logging town. It's an interesting mix of big city urbanites turned hippy (2009 version) fleeing the rush hour life and old time loggers and fishermen. They make it work somehow although their ideologie's probably don't mix as well. They accept one another just the same. Too bad the political landscape of the USA can't find that middle ground like Ft Bragg seems to have.
