Where to start explaining these guys. ..One of the three is among the best guitarists I've heard. Don't listen to their recorded stuff unless you find a live version featuring just the 3 of them. This is their 20 year anniversary tour. When they did renditions of Bach Concerto's, in sync then seamlessly slide into a suite of familiar songs consisting of Ghost Riders in the Sky then right into The Doors "Riders on the Storm" without skipping a beat then one of those Pink Floyd instrumental 10 minute concept pieces (there is no vocals in there performance..Just incredible playing).. and into a Walk Don't Run version that blows your emotions to bits. Inbetween all this is a body of work they have written. These guys are trained and untraditional.
You swear it's electric guitar on about a 3rd of their set list. unless you're watching them there is no way of telling the difference.
I bought their latest CD during intermission and I knew better but they were so over the top I had to have one. It doesn't even come close what with drums and other production add on's. Maybe there is a utube or something out there that does them justice. There is a live CD out.
All three are trained virtuosos. If I had to pick one it be this guitarist. He'll take you on an emotional roller coaster with his playing as do the other two. But this player takes it to another level.
I'm watching 2 guys surfing and directly in front of them is this girl dancing to the waves they catch. Guy catches a wave...girl starts dancing..like hippie 60's type LSD fueled stuff. All these photos in this blog were taken within 3 hours of each other. As Keifer Southerland would say: "the following takes place between 6pm and 9 pm".
This is a first. 2 Guys surfing in front of the RV Park. I call it head high.
Oregonians call it flat.
