50 YEARS OF AN ENDLESS SUMMER

louvered hood and the tac on the dash...everything was BITCHIN !

Returning from a 3 year surf safarie which took him thru South Africa in the late 1950's,..."Uncle" Dick Metz (left) told his buddy Bruce Brown (RIGHT) about a perfect break he had discovered. The wave became the center piece of the most iconic surf film of all time.
The spot is called Cape Saint Francis and the movie.. of course, THE ENDLESS SUMMER.

Two of the classiest guys in and out of the line up: paul Strauch and barry Haun.
