Most adult butterflies drink nectar from flowers through their tongues, which function much like straws.The part that I don't understand is how they coil it in such a nice tight loop when they are done.I took these pictures today and didn't see the tongue until I put the pictures on the computer screen.You won't be able to see it on a hand held device but on a computerscreen you can see they have a very long, but small straw, or tongue....b
