TODAY IS A GOOD DAY

I have 15 years worth of photos I've taken of Ventura. That being said.. The first photo is Tres Palmas this morning 9-30-2018. Both The east and west coasts are getting waves from hurricans
2018 and 2005

Today will be good size at south facing breaks that can handle bigger waves. See the forecast ..bottom of this blog.

Here's how the day-to-day is breaking down so far for Ventura.
Sunday the 30th should see sets running head high to 3' overhead at south facing breaks early in the morning with larger rogue waves coming through during the AM. South facing breaks are likely to run DOH late in the day, bigger around nightfall.
Monday the 1st, in the early AM, should see sets with face heights running 12-18' at south facing breaks with excellent 180° exposure. Swell though is likely to start dropping off by noon to DOH max, and then 2-4' overhead by mid afternoon.
Hurricane swells hitting both the East and West coasts. This was Tres Palmas,  Puerto Rico yesterday
