We’re expecting to see this round of NNE/NE deepwater swell to come in above model guidance as models often have trouble accounting for that preheated sea surface — look for the next deepwater swell to come in a couple feet bigger and a few seconds longer than we saw during the peak of the last swell. Top deepwater standouts could produce 15- to 20-foot faces o week and into over the back half of the week and into the start of the weekend before the surf tapers down into the first full week of November. And with lighter than normal trades expected for many this weekend, it’s still a damn good time to be in the islands.
